Rudy was born in Carroll County, MD, living in Mount Airy until he was six years old. His family then moved to Baltimore. He met his wife, Barb (Griffiths) at Christ Church in Dundalk, MD in Confirmation classes when they were 12 years old. They both graduated from Dundalk High in 1965 and married in 1967. They moved to Whiteford, MD in 1970 and continue to reside there. Rudy and Barb have two daughters and four grandchildren.

 

Rudy worked as Market Manager for Food Lion until his retirement in 2013. He and Barb run a thriving Farm Business selling vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Rudy believes gardening is a pleasure. “To watch a seed sprout and develop into a beautiful flower or delicious fruit or vegetable is awesome to witness every year.”
